We are currently recruiting for multiple, talented and experienced technical team members who are interested
in bringing ‘new to the world’ Optical Power Transmission innovations (wireless power & power over fiber – kilowatts to kilometers)
through the product development cycle to rapidly growing markets.

Mechanical Engineer / Product Developer

Mechanical Engineer / Product Developer team members will define and create Mechanical Subsystem Architectures, including opto-mechanical supports & articulation, thermal management (chillers, heat sinks, etc.), environmental robustness (enclosures, MIL-Spec.).  Will also lead detailed mechanical requirements, designs and testing for various opto-mechanical, thermal and environmental robustness modules, and components as well as the integration of these into larger subsystems.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science, or related disciplines with significant design experience with opto-mechanical or thermal management systems.
·       5+ years industry experience
·       Experience developing / manufacturing one or more products to a commercial, industrial or consumer market.
Preferred Qualifications
·       10+ years industry experience
·       Experience with opto-mechanical systems
·       Experience with thermal management / heat transfer systems (50 W to 50 kW)
·       Experience delivering several integrated products to market
·       Experience with FDA regulated products
·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
·       Excellent judgment, organizational and problem-solving skills
·       Project planning/execution skills including estimating, scheduling and executing on committed schedules

Electrical Engineer / Product Developer

Electrical Engineer / Product Developer team members will define and create Electrical and Electronic Subsystem Architectures, including Lasers Power Supplies, Analog Sensors and Signal Processing, Photovoltaic Arrays, DC-DC Power Converters and Telemetry Data Communication and Capture.  Will also lead detailed electrical and electronic requirements, designs and testing for various electrical / electronic modules and components as well as the integration of these into larger subsystems.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines with significant design experience.
·       5+ years industry experience
·       Experience developing / manufacturing one or more products including significant electrical or electronic components to a commercial, industrial or consumer market.
Preferred Qualifications
·       10+ years industry experience
·       Experience with electrical power systems (>500W AC & DC)
·       Experience with high power laser systems (>500W CW)
·       Experience with photovoltaic systems (>500W)
·       Experience with analog sensor systems and real time signal processing (<1GHz)
·       Experience delivering several products, with significant electrical and electronic components, to market
·       Experience with FDA regulated products
·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
·       Excellent judgment, organizational and problem-solving skills
·       Project planning/execution skills including estimating, scheduling and executing on committed schedules

Optical Engineer / Product Developer

Optical Engineer / Product Developer team members will define and create Optical Subsystem Architectures that incorporate beam shaping optics, lasers, optical sensors, and photovoltaics.  Optical Engineer / Product Developer team members will also lead detailed optical requirements, designs and testing for various optical modules and components as well as the integration of these into larger subsystems.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Optical Engineering, Optics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines with significant design experience with laser, photovoltaic, or telescope and related optical components.
·       5+ years industry experience

·       Experience developing / manufacturing one or more optics-based products to a commercial, industrial or consumer market.

Preferred Qualifications
·       10+ years industry experience
·       Experience with power-in-the-bucket or illumination optical designs
·       5+ years of experience using optical design software
·       Experience with high power laser systems (>500W CW)
·       Experience with long-distance optical imaging systems
·       Experience interacting with vendors of custom optical components, coating services, and optical tools.
·       Experience balancing non-optical requirements with optical element trade space through the development process
·       Experience delivering several optics-based products to market
·       Experience with FDA/CDRH regulated products
·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
·       Excellent judgment, organizational and problem-solving skills
·       Project planning/execution skills including estimating, scheduling and executing on committed schedules
